Before Jollibee and McDonald's, there was (at least in my hometown) Tita's Cafe.
Notice the vintage photos on the menus and the tacky swivel chairs. They recently renovated the place to keep up with the present, but the kids of my generation will still remember how this place used to look.
This place used to be so crowded that they had a sign that read "Share a seat, win a friend." I used to think that this was an actual contest they ran—share your table with someone and the staff would bring over a new friend tied with a ribbon for you to enjoy.
